Cost Questions, Answered
How much does SoftWave therapy cost in Solana Beach?▾
Your first visit is $129 and includes the doctor consultation, a full diagnostic evaluation, and your first SoftWave treatment covering up to three areas of the body — a $495 retail value. Ongoing care is quoted after your evaluation, because the number of sessions depends on your condition and how long you've had it.
Why is the first visit only $129?▾
Most people have never felt a true electrohydraulic shockwave treatment. The $129 first visit lets you experience it, get a real evaluation, and see how your body responds before committing to a care plan.
How much does a full course of treatment cost?▾
Most musculoskeletal conditions respond in roughly 6 to 12 short sessions. Package pricing is quoted in writing at your first visit once we know how many areas need treatment and how many sessions your condition calls for. There are no surprise fees and no long-term contracts.
Is shockwave therapy covered by insurance?▾
Usually not. Most insurers still classify shockwave therapy as elective, even though it is FDA-cleared. Because we are a cash-based practice, our pricing is transparent up front and you are never billed later for a surprise balance.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?▾
Many patients do use HSA or FSA dollars for SoftWave care. We provide an itemized receipt so you can submit it to your plan administrator.
How much does shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis cost?▾
Plantar fasciitis is one of the conditions covered by the $129 first visit. Heel cases typically resolve in fewer sessions than long-standing spinal or joint problems, so the total investment is often lower.
What does ED shockwave therapy cost?▾
SoftWave treatment for erectile dysfunction is $250 per session — well below the $400 and up common at other clinics — and does not require expensive outside diagnostic testing.
What does pelvic floor therapy cost?▾
REVIVE® pelvic floor therapy is $300 per 28-minute session, and new patients can start with a $69 first session.
How does the cost compare with injections or surgery?▾
A single cortisone injection series, an MRI, or an orthopedic surgical consult often costs more out of pocket than a full SoftWave care plan — and injections and surgery carry downtime and risk that SoftWave does not.
